Scott Booth is a Principal of The Townsend Group and is currently responsible for North America non-core real estate fund due diligence and maintaining the firm’s expertise in commercial real estate debt. Mr. Booth has ten years of real estate experience and 27 years total of institutional investment experience in multiple asset classes including real estate, real assets, and fixed income.
Prior to joining The Townsend Group in 2005, Mr. Booth was Senior Vice President at KeyBank in several Capital Markets areas. His responsibilities included client portfolio analytics, interest rate risk management on the Swaps and Derivatives desk, and senior trading assignments within the Fixed Income division. Mr. Booth’s career began in New York as a bond trader for ten years at predecessor firms to JPMorgan, UBS, and Mizuho Financial.
Mr. Booth is a graduate of Miami University with majors in Finance and Economics; received his MBA from Columbia Business School; and holds the CFA and the CAIA designations.
